The  Muppets make a long awaited return to the big screen today in The Muppets. In tribute, let me present the greatest Muppets songs of all time. If only the charts featured music as good as this.


1. Beaker, Animal and the Swedish Chef in a rendition of Danny Boy that will bring tears to the eyes.

2. Beaker again, with a heartfelt version of Feelings - it'll tear your heart out.

3. The original Mahna Mahna song. Careful - you'll be humming it all day long.

4. Rowlf on piano, with Zoot on sax, playing Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. Guess what happens?

5. Marvin Suggs and his Muppaphone singing Witch Doctor. Officially better than Aqua's version.

6. No apologies for featuring Beaker again, this time bringing a little classical culture to proceedings with Beethoven's Ode to Joy

7. Rita Morena's rendition of Fever requires a little restrained drumbeat as accompaniment. Unfortunately, Animal is on drums....
